Fact: The South American giant spider has its legs span of up to 30 centimeters, weight up to 170 grams.

What is the name of this creature? 

It is  (Theraphosa blondi), a spider belonging to the tarantula family Theraphosidae. Found in northern South America, and is the largest spider in the world.
