Nine foods that can treat your chapped lips
Cold, dry air is the main reason to cause loss of lips moisture and make it to be chapped (read more on what causes chapped lips?). It is not only annoying but also make you less confident with your smile. However, you can fully say farewell with chapped lips by these very simple method.
1. Duck grease
You can use duck grease to soften your lips, and it is also a great therapy to tread the chapped lips, use it regularly and your lips will no longer be chapped anymore
Water is essential for your skin, drink lots of water when it's dry, especially when you work the whole day under air conditioner. Eating lots of fruit, for example: orange, apple, grapefruit... will improve your skin health. Remember to reduce your pepper, chili consumption.
Cucumber is not only good for your skin but also is magical chronic chapped lips treatment. If your lips are cracked seriously, you just only need to cut a few slices of cucumber and rub it gently on your lips so that the cucumber's water can penetrate deeply into your lips. Keep it for 20 minutes then rinse with warm water, you will have a soft lips and not cracked anymore. Do it daily, several times a day, your lips will be smooth and pink naturally.
Rose is considered to be the elixir of beauty, including of preventing and controlling the chapped lips. Rose petals moisturize and add fresh & rosy to your lips. What you need to do is choosing the fresh rose petals, rinsed and soaked them is fresh milk within a few hours. After that, use a light spoon to melt the rose petals down, mixing with milk to produce a viscous mixture. Preserving mixture in sealed glass jars in a dry place for personal use.
Every night before bed, you just need to apply a bit of this mixture on your lips, your lips will look natural and smooth strained like rose petals, no more parched.
Many people have habit of exfoliating facial and body but ignore the lips part. If you are one of them, let's change this habit by using sugar to scrub your lips, help it to be smooth and seductive.
You just need to mix two teaspoons of sugar with one teaspoon of honey, you will have a perfect exfoliating dead skin scream with totally safe for your lips. Apply the mixture on your lips, gently massage and leave for about 5 minutes, you will get rid of dead cells as well as cracked peeling skin on your lips. 7. Coconut oil
Coconut oil is a natural moisturizer that can be applied on the dry lips without any side effects. Use it several times a day to keeps lips moist. Apart from coconut oil, you can also use olive oil, mustard oil or castor oil.
8. Cooking oil
Cleaning your lips, then apply a layer of cooking oil, keep it for about 20 minutes then rinse with warm water. Done this in the evening, before bedtime.
Use aloe juice and spread it on your lips, keep it for about 20 minutes then rinse with warm water. You can store it in the refrigerator for personal use. However, keep it for 3 days maximum to avoid the modified in aloe ingredients.
Note: Avoid going out when the weather is too dry. But if you had to go out for work, you should use natural oils to protect your lips from the harsh environment.
